Puppies

A heads up for everyone who may be thinking of adopting a puppy. We have seven little beauties in our care who will soon be going to their foster homes.

There are four little boys and three girls and will going out to their new foster homes in pairs and a set of three in the next week or so.

We believe they are 6 weeks old. Their mum is a Staff cross but we (as usual) have no idea who the dad is.

Mum and pups survived all the snow and freezing temperatures by sheltering in a barn. After a call from the farmer we arranged collection as soon as we could and here they are.

Mum, Trixie (as seen in the last picture), is a gorgeous girl who has given everything to her babies. She has been a very good mum and has looked after them so we have seven healthy bouncing puppies.

Trixie however is not quite so healthy. She is skin and bone so we will need to give her lots of time and plenty of tlc and good hearty meals to get her back to herself. She will then be ready for rehoming.

Their foster carers will update their rehoming threads on the website as they get to know them, which makes life a little easier for potential new families as they can get an idea of their individual personalities.

They look incredibly cute though and I for one can't wait to see their rehoming threads on our forum. Keep an eye out here

Successful applications will, as usual, be subject to a homecheck, a minimum donation of £150 is also required and the pups have to attend socialisation and training classes.

Neutering, when the pups reach 6 months will be done at the new family's expense but the pups will be flea'd, wormed, mirchipped and have a clean bill of health.

Like rugby?

This is a superb and hard to find, squad signed photo presentation of the Welsh Champion Team celebrating their Triple Crown and Grand Slam win of 2012. The signatures of the full 37 man squad are positioned around the photo and it is fully mounted in a ready to hang, black frame that measures a large and impressive 24" by 19.5".

A wonderful keepsake for the Welsh Grand Slam season of 2012, it depicts the moment when captain Sam Warburton lifts the Trophy in the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff. The photo print is of excellent quality, my photographs do not do it justice as all of the fine details are there.

The draw for this item will take place on the 19th January 2013 at our meet and greet at the Lush store in Cardiff.

For information on how to buy tickets please visit http://forum.fourpawsanimalrescue.org.uk/index.php?board=285.0

Many thanks to Craig from the Millennium Stadium for very kindly donating this item and to Chris and John (CandJ) for securing it.

Kennel dogs

Can you help Doyle, Frankie or Mack find a loving home? They are in kennels at the moment and really would love a foster home so they can be assessed and put up for rehoming.

Doyle is a very nervous boy and needs a collie experienced foster home where someone will continue with the good work that the kennel staff have been doing. When we say nervous we mean very nervous but we are sure there is someone out there that will give him a chance.

Frankie is a big girl but she appears to love everyone. We don't have any history on her but she has plenty of love to give and with consistent training in a foster home is sure to make someone a lovely companion.
Mack is a another big softie. We aren't sure on how he gets on with other dogs but people he adores. If you would like to give Mack a chance then please get in touch.

We are always looking for experienced foster homes and if you fancy giving fostering a go please fill out our form so we can arrange a homecheck.

If you cannot adopt from a rescue then foster, if you cannot foster then donate, if you cannot donate then volunteer. These dogs and more like them need your help.

Thank you
